Margaret McKinnon is a clinician-scientist who holds the Homewood Chair in Mental Health and Trauma and serves as an Associate Professor and Associate Chair, Research in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University. Her work aims to better characterize trauma-related disorders, and to translate this knowledge to the development and testing of novel and adjunctive treatment approaches. The majority of her work is conducted in partnership with the military and public safety communities in Canada.
