Lynda Manser is the Associate Director of Research and Strategic Program Development for Military Family Services, a division of Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services. She works primarily in the area of family research, knowledge translation and strategy development. As part of the National Defence policy, Strong Secure Engaged, she conducted research on the needs of military families and models of family resilience to inform the development of the Comprehensive Military Family Plan. She also oversees several portfolios including military and Veteran family research, assessment of community needs, mental health, child and youth services, supports to special populations, and program and service evaluation.
